Short version: this site is educational information, not advice, and every number is an example. Run your own math.
Longer version, because it matters:
Not financial, tax, or legal advice
Nothing on manbucks.com is financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or insurance advice. The author is not a CPA, attorney, financial advisor, or licensed contractor — just a careful guy with spreadsheets. Where articles touch regulated topics (taxes, vehicle titling, business licensing, insurance), they summarize publicly available rules and link to primary sources such as IRS.gov, FTC.gov, and state DMV sites so you can verify everything yourself. When your money is on the line, confirm current rules at the source or hire a licensed professional in your state.
Numbers are examples, not promises
Every ledger, price, revenue range, and break-even figure on this site is either a researched market figure from the date the article was last updated, or a clearly labeled worked example. Prices change weekly. Markets differ by ZIP code. Your costs, skills, weather, and luck will produce different results — sometimes better, often worse, especially at first. No article on this site promises income. If you start a side business based on something you read here, you're making your own business decision, with your own risk.
Earning money involves risk
Side businesses can lose money. Equipment breaks, customers don't pay, demand disappears, and physical work can cause injury or property damage. Articles here deliberately include downsides and failure points, but no list of downsides is complete. Insurance, licensing, and tax obligations vary by state and city — verify yours before taking a dollar from a customer.
Independence
Articles name real retailers and brands (Harbor Freight, Home Depot, DeWalt, and so on) because real prices require real stores. As of the date above, no manufacturer or retailer has paid for placement in any article, and no article's verdict is for sale. If the site displays advertising, ads are served by ad networks and don't influence editorial content. If any affiliate relationship ever exists on a page, it will be disclosed on that page.
